Write to support@retroready.app. For anything about a purchase, include your install id: it is in the app under Settings (the gear on the shelf) → Install id; tap it to copy it.

A purchase did not arrive

Open the paywall and tap "Restore purchases", then wait a minute. If your plan still does not show, write to us with your install id and the store's receipt (the order number in your receipt email).

Cancelling a plan

Plans renew until you cancel them in your store account, at least a day before the renewal date. On iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. On Android: Google Play → your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, or play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a plan.

Apple and Google handle payments and refunds: Apple, Google Play.

A new phone

Plans belong to your App Store or Google Play account, not to the phone. On a new phone, or after reinstalling the app, sign in with the same store account, open the paywall (tap "free scans left" on the shelf) and tap "Restore purchases".

A scan got the game wrong

Take the front and the back in good light, with the label and any product code readable (for example NUS-NBKP-EUR on a Nintendo 64 cartridge), and add a photo of what is inside the box if you have it. Answers are written by AI and can be wrong, and follow-up answers are not fact-checked: check anything that matters before you buy or sell.

Deleting your data

Your scans live on your phone: delete a scan from its page, or delete the app to remove them all. To delete what our server keeps about your install (scans used, your plan) and the purchase records that our server and RevenueCat hold for it, write to us with your install id. Apple and Google keep their own records of your purchases. After the deletion, a plan bought on that install no longer works in the app until you restore your purchases there ("A new phone" above), and the deletion does not cancel it: cancel in your store account. The free scan on the website

The free scan at retroready.app/scan allows a few scans a day per connection. If it says you have used today's scans, it resets at midnight (UTC); the app has its own 3 free scans.
